Our name

We Will Return is a declaration of Palestinians' unwavering desire and right to return to their homeland. This powerful phrase serves as a rallying cry, reflecting the enduring hope, spirit, and determination of a people who, despite displacement and adversity, hold steadfast to the belief that one day they will return to their ancestral homeland. It embodies a deep connection to the cultural and historical roots of the Palestinian identity, symbolizing the unyielding commitment to justice and the restoration of their rightful place in the land they call home.

We Will Return creates bridges of hope between families inside and outside of Palestine. ​​Our organization is dedicated to empowering Palestinian families by providing essential humanitarian relief, fostering social activism, and promoting education. We strive to alleviate the immediate hardships faced by Palestinian communities, offering tangible support that addresses their basic needs. Through social activism, we aim to raise awareness about the unique challenges faced by Palestinian families, advocating for justice, equality, and human rights. Additionally, we believe in the transformative power of education and work to create opportunities for learning and skill development within communities. By combining these pillars of humanitarian relief, social activism, and education, our mission is to contribute to the well-being and resilience of Palestinian families, fostering a future of hope and dignity.

The Palestinian standard of living, economy, and education system are crippled. With rising unemployment, declining opportunities, and limited access to basic human needs, times have never looked bleaker for the Palestinian ​people and the future outlook of the country.

  • Over one-third of Palestinian families live below the poverty line, with the unemployment rate reaching 99% in Gaza
  • Over 56,000 Palestinian homes have been demolished by Israel since 1967
  • The U.S. provides Israel with over $10.7 million/day in military aid and $0.73 million/day in foreign aid to Palestine
  • Over 90 percent of the Palestinian population relies on some form of humanitarian assistance
  • 91% of the land of Palestine has been illegally annexed by Israel since 1948
