The ongoing conflict in Gaza continues to cause immense civilian suffering, much of which is exacerbated by military support from external nations, including the United States. U.S.-made weapons, such as airstrike munitions, have been used in operations that violate international humanitarian law, leading to the deaths of civilians and destruction of essential infrastructure.

This October marks one year since the people of Gaza showed the world their determined resolve in the face of unimaginable hardship. A year ago, Palestinians in Gaza demonstrated that the colonized can resist and rise against their colonizers. Despite the tremendous loss, they stood tallâand continue to do so.
This past Saturday, September 28, the Islamic Association of Greater Hartford hosted an impactful and inspiring event titled “Islam Between Faith and Action”. The community gathered to explore the vital role that faith plays in guiding Muslims toward advocacy and social justice. With the insightful guidance of guest speaker Brother Mosaab Sadeia, attendees were able to dive deep into the intersection of faith and activism within Islam.
Last night’s rally at the Hartford State Capitol brought together a powerful gathering of individuals committed to the ongoing struggles for Black and Palestinian liberation. The event, held on August 28 at 5:30 PM, was a testament to the deep intersections between these two movements and the collective power we hold when standing together.
On August 3rd, International Watermelon Day, we hosted a Sip and Paint event and fundraiser with Semilla Collective at Mazorca in solidarity with Palestine. We raised $936!
In June, people were invited to join the CT-Palestine Solidarity Cultural Collective for their first benefit concert, with proceeds going to We Will Return (@wewillreturnpse).
In June we hosted a beautiful fundraiser picnic to raise money in support of the people of Gaza! The event was filled with teach-ins, games, amazing food, tradition, culture, and more. People came together in solidarity for their community.
Following our fundraiser event, we hosted a Ramadan potluck for our major donors, where each family contributed a dish representing their cultural background.
This past March, Pals4Palestine hosted We Will Return for an Iftar fundraiser at Havenly in New Haven. â
The Benefit Banquet for Palestine unfolded seamlessly while raising awareness and fundraising a total of 101,513 dollars to the people of Palestine! The Executive Committee & Board of directors joined together with 330 guests for an event in support for Gaza and the people of Palestine. â
