Feeding the Displaced in Gaza

On January 16, 2025, food distributions took place in southern Gaza to support displaced families affected by ongoing conflict. Volunteers prepared and delivered trays of rice with chicken at multiple locations. The effort was coordinated with support from local community members and donors affiliated with We Will Return (Watan).

The process involved preparing large quantities of food, packaging the meals, and distributing them directly to displaced individuals and families living in temporary shelters.

Volunteers prepared large trays of rice with chicken for distribution, using donated ingredients and community support. Trays of rice with chicken were distributed to displaced families in Rafah and delivered directly to families in temporary shelters.​

The initiative aimed to meet immediate nutritional needs during a period of severe displacement and resource scarcity. Volunteers publicly acknowledged donor support, which helped fund ingredients and logistics for the preparation and delivery of the meals.

This distribution is part of ongoing efforts by local organizers and partner networks to provide basic assistance to civilians in Gaza, particularly those residing in areas without stable access to food or services.
