Freshly Baked Bread for Gaza’s Children

On January 7, 2025, a local team in southern Gaza prepared and distributed fresh flatbread to families living in displacement camps. The effort provided a basic but essential food item to hundreds of people, many of whom lack regular access to cooking facilities.

The process began with baking rounds of dough in a traditional oven. Once golden and fully cooked, the bread was collected, cooled, bagged, and organized into trays for distribution. ​

Photos from the day capture the full cycle—from baking to handoff—as the bread was delivered directly to families, including children in makeshift tent communities.

This effort was supported by local volunteers and donor contributions, helping meet urgent food needs with a simple, reliable staple.
