Iftar Fundraiser

This past March, Pals4Palestine hosted We Will Return for an Iftar fundraiser at Havenly in New Haven. ​

As a community, people from all backgrounds joined together to break their fast during the holy month of Ramadan. The executive committee of We Will Return started the event with an informative presentation about the work being done with the donations. 

As the sun set, people broke their fast with dates and tea and joined together for Maghrib prayer. Afterwards, we all sat down and enjoyed a delicious meal prepared by Havenly chefs. Havenly provides refugee women with a home and training space as well as empower women to work in a safe environment.
