Ramadan Potluck

Following our fundraiser event, we hosted a Ramadan potluck for our major donors, where each family contributed a dish representing their cultural background. ​

From traditional Palestinian Maqlooba to Indian Butter chicken, people from all backgrounds joined together to share a home cooked meal. Khaled Alqaddumi, President of WWR, welcomed and thanked our guests for their support.  We showed our gratitude and appreciation for a young boy who selflessly donated his entire savings of $17 to our fundraiser. We acknowledged his generosity by presenting him with gifts as a token of our appreciation. ​

Basel Alnajjar, executive member of WWR, provided an update on the grand total raised at the fundraiser and how the funds were distributed.  The potluck served as an opportunity to foster community and provide updates on our humanitarian initiatives.
