Shelter for Displaced Families

Winter in Gaza is unforgiving, especially for families displaced by severe weather and conflict. For those forced to endure the cold without adequate shelter, even a simple tent can mean the difference between despair and hope. We were able to purchase tents and covers to help shield against the brutal winter and rain fall. Your generosity has made it possible to provide lifesaving relief to these vulnerable families, offering not just protection but also a sense of dignity and safety.

We’ve been able to provide emergency shelter to families displaced by severe weather conditions. One recent effort supported a family who were forced to live on the streets after flooding caused by heavy rains. A temporary awning was prepared and provided to shield them from the elements. 

In the Al-Hurriya camp, a widow and her six children received a tent to protect them from the cold. For this family, displaced and vulnerable, the tent is more than just shelter—it is a lifeline.
The man facilitating this act of kindness expressed heartfelt gratitude to the benefactors who made it possible: “May God make this work in the balance of good deeds of those who do good, God willing.” This moment, and countless others like it, reminds us of the power of community and the impact of your contributions.​
